Summary

This week, we can develop a practice of excavating the diamonds buried in our hearts. The lotus flower blooms in spite of its murky waters. We do have feelings of fear, jealousy, and hatred, but we can see that these qualities do not serve us. We must let them go if we wish to experience the joy and blessings the Universe wishes to bestow on us. Hatred is poison that we take ourselves, expecting the other person to die. It is only in our own best interest to be willing to let go of negativity, even if we feel justified in holding on to it.

And this week we're talking about living a lotus flower life because if you ever seen a lotus flower grow, you know that it can only grow, or its natural environment, is muck,

1:01.0

is mud, is swampy water, and yet it is one of the most glorious and beautiful expressions

of nature, of the light force of the creator, and really represents,

1:11.6

I think, not only in the Far Eastern philosophies, but even when we see a lotus flower,

1:18.6

it is a symbol of harmony and peace and tranquility. So how do we live a life of harmony and peace and

1:25.6

tranquility when we're living in a life that's pretty muddy?

1:30.3

And that's really what this week is giving us the opportunity to reflect on.

1:34.3

And it comes at us in various different angles, I would say, ways, shapes, and forms, different lessons that we can learn or perspectives that we can take.

1:44.3

I'm going to try and share as much as I can in a condensed form.

1:48.4

And I really think that just by having this perspective shift, it will really, I really see and feel

the flood of light that we can bring into the world by just making these tiny perspective shifts.

2:05.6

So we really, it begins, living a lotus flower life begins by looking at all of the things that we allow around us to limit us.

Maybe it's a family situation, a living situation, right?

2:24.3

You may have family members you live with or roommates that you live with

that don't allow you to do X, Y, or Z, don't allow you to be X, Y, or Z.

2:33.3

If you didn't have them or if you weren't in the financial constraint that you're in, you to be X, Y, or Z. If you didn't have them or if you weren't in the financial
