Summary

There is a lot going on in the world right now. If you’re feeling guilty for what you have while others are lacking, or if you’re not sure how to help, today’s episode will remind you of what’s really important. As Rachel gets some things off her mind, she shares how overwhelmed she has been lately with Dennis in Aruba, her work duties piling up, and the world seemingly in chaos. Feeling like she hasn’t been doing enough, she remembers a crucial lesson. We do not need to fundamentally change our own lives to be of service to others. And the only way to remember what this is all for is to never take for granted what we have. Tune in for an episode that will remind you that the little things add up - and that our hearts can hold a lot more than we think. And from the heart, my goodness, we are so from the heart these days living from the heart,

0:21.2

listening from the heart, feeling from the heart. I don't know if it's just me, but I really

0:27.1

feel like we are reaching a heightened level of heart openness right now. And with everything

0:36.9

unfolding in the world, it's quite beautiful to see, you know, never in my life have I received

0:43.0

such an outpouring of messages from people asking for advice on what to do. You know, I'm not an

0:49.9

expert, I just speak publicly on things to do and options for how to be of service. And even on

0:58.3

the outside in this way, it's beautiful to see and share the outpouring of love that's

1:05.2

possible in this world. So I just want to acknowledge that. I just felt my heartstrings pull a

1:12.4

little bit when I said from the heart. The name of this show. So my loves, my loves, oh,

1:24.1

I want to envelop you and just wrap you up in a big hug. I just want to hold you. And I also

1:31.4

want to be held. I just, I wish we could all be in a big cuddle puddle somewhere in real life.

1:38.1

I'm really craving that real life connection. You know, online's great and I'm so grateful that we

1:46.8

have that ability, but I'm missing the IRL stuff I really am. So how about we ground into the

1:55.1

body a little bit. Let's do that. When these past two weeks, when have we not totally needed to

2:04.0

ground into the body. Some days I have to remind myself to take deep breaths as I'm moving through

2:09.5

my day. It's all so very intense. So for this practice or for just this moment right now,

2:19.9

close your eyes if you like. Place a hand to the heart. The other hand can come to the belly

2:26.6

and take a moment right away just to feel just to check in. Sometimes it can take a little while

2:39.2

to really arrive. You know, just because we've closed our eyes and kind of we're here and we're

2:47.4

ready for the thing doesn't mean that every part of us has totally caught up. So as you hold a hand

2:56.1

to your heart and a hand to your belly, just give yourself a little bit of time. Time to arrive.
