$5,000-entry NFBC Ultimate Draft today, all coming up next on theodeWire Fantasy Baseball podcast. Like I said, in the intro here, we're going to actually be doing something a little different today.

Where it's kind of kicking off high stakes draft season. We got a lot of drafts in Vegas next week. I'll be doing NFBC main events. Everybody's doing online championships. So we're going to talk about a specific draft today. It's a $5,000 entry. The Mike the mouth ultimate he puts it, Mike Masado puts together. Everybody's live in New York. We're going to jump to

Mike and the guy who's won this league three years in a row in a second. But first of all, I got a special co-host today, breaking it down. Nobody better do this. He's wearing two AL Central things going on right now. He's got a White Sox jersey and a twins hat. So I don't know how we're going to deal with this exactly. But everybody knows him. He's one of the better high stakes players,

one of the better fancy players, a really good analyst also, really good guy to Toby, bat flip crazy. How's everything going? Things are great, Scott. Thanks so much for having me. Appreciate coming back on. You know, a lot of people grew up rooting for different teams and I just grew up rooting for divisions. You know, everybody's always picking on the AL Central. And I'm like, you know, I'm going to go for it. No, my seven-year-old picked out my hat for me and I already have the White Sox Robin Ventura jersey on. So beautiful. So as I mentioned before, we're going to kind of break down this draft. It's a $5,000 entry ultimate online that one of the nice things is all the people in the draft have agreed for their names to be uh fill at the board i don't know if you read twitter at all toby there's been a little bit of uh interested in that names being mentioned on boards uh ADP all that kind of stuff big stickers everybody's going Everybody's going full open here. We're going to see

who's picking who. So it's being fun because there's no hiding names in this draft.

Yeah, respect to people for putting that out there. I know people put a lot of time,

energy and effort into their research. So sometimes people are protective of putting that information

out there. You know, there's actually a couple people in here who I'm in leagues with later on.

So I'll be paying extra attention to that. Very nice. So we actually, the draft starts in about

11 minutes here. I'm actually going to have Mike Masato, who kind of organizes and runs this thing,

as well as the three-time defending champion, Scott Fleming. For doing the math there, that's $120,000 in winnings just in this league the last three years. Kind of a bonkers number, $40,000 the entry. I'm going to bring them in right now. We're talking about the draft a little bit before they get going. I know they just did their live. They do a live K kDS for pick so you don't know what pick you're getting when you show up so it's a live kdase your name comes up you pick what what order you want you go from there our friend rob d pietro i already see it has the number one pick so uh rob's having a good afternoon but let me let me have these guys jump in and uh we'll we'll chat to them a little before the draft starts here.
