In this month's series, I'm covering cases in which the perpetrators created videos of their crimes

and shared them with the world in real time. This week, I'll detail the case of a mass shooting that to this

day is the worst criminal attack in New Zealand's history. A young man's racist

ideology leads him to take the lives of 51 people and injure dozens more, all

while recording and uploading video of the killings to Facebook live. This is the

last chapter in the series Live Streamed crimes, the case of Rickerton, a suburb of Christchurch, New Zealand on Friday afternoon March 15th, 2019.

The driver was dressed all in black. He wore a tactical vest, black fingerless gloves, and a helmet to which he'd attached a GoPro camera.
