It was another straighting game for the Reds, really. Created very little, to be honest. They had a lot of the ball but struggled to break down a defensive Sunderland side. Alexis McAllister hit the post. So Bossel I had a few chances from distance,

but Sunderland defended well. Took the lead in the second half through Tullby. It was a

deflected goal. Virgil Van Dyke gives the ball away. It falls to Talby, takes it a touch, tries his luck, big deflection off Van Dyke, Alaston stands no chance. But Liverpool responded reasonably well, and fielded behind them. And they get a share of the spoils there, thanks to avert. It was a really well-taking goal from him, even it's being taken off him as an own goal. He gets the ball off Curtis drones, drops his shoulder, beats two men in the box, tries his luck, and then buries it in front of the cop. A bit of a deflection, but it goes in and Liverpool avoid defeat. Now, obviously not the result Liverpool would have wanted. They would have wanted to get three points here, but let's not forget how good a season Sunderland are having. If we look at the table, they're sixth. Liverpool stay eighth, do they? Yeah, Liverpool's stay eighth on 22 points. And Sondland have done well against some big teams this year, so they might be newly promoted, but's still it could be worse we're live on
