and I'm here to round up the latest LFC news from the weekend. But really what it's going to be

is trying to understand what happened yesterday to Liverpool. We lost 3-0 at the Etihad to the hands of Manchester City and it was a little bit of a strange game from Liverpool in the sense of I think an absolutely humongous decision goes against us like I really. But I also think that Liverpool were quite poor at the same time.

It was PEP's 1000th game.

The crowd was always going to be up for it,

especially after Arsenal had dropped points against Sunderland on the Saturday.

So I expected a really, really tough atmosphere.

And, you know, I thought Liverpool struggled to get to grips with the game a little bit.

And every time Liverpool had the ball, I just needed them to keep the ball for, you know, a certain amount of time for us to take this thing out the ball. I just needed them to keep the ball for a, you know,

a certain amount of time for us to take this thing out the game.

But Liverpool couldn't quite do that.

And look, I thought Manchester City plays all right.

I didn't think they had to play well to beat us.

That's what my thought was.

I didn't think they had to be outstanding to beat Liverpool but you

know there was every time we won the ball back in the first five 10 minutes you know I was

really really happy with us doing that and I just kind of wanted us to keep the ball and then

you know moving forward be able to take the sting out of the crowd out of the game and then, you know, moving forward, be able to take the sting out of the crowd,

out of the game, and then grow into it a bit.

But, you know, just silly mistakes, silly errors, you know, cause things not to go your way.

I think they had far too much space in that midfield.

I mean, I thought Nico Gonzalez and Phil Thurden were in acres of space in the middle of the park.
