My name is Dan Club. It is Monday the 20th of April, and I'm here to bring you all the latest Liverpool news,

and you may notice an upbeat tone to my voice, and that's because the Reds won the Merseyside Derby.

The first Merseyside Darby at Everson's new home, the Hill at Dichnston Stadium. And wasn't it just glorious? Wasn't it just a sight of behold? The sun was out and Virgil Van Dyke was heading home. One hundredth minute winners. It truly was just joyous. And I can't really tell you how much I needed that because I don't know about you

as Liverpool fans, of course, in terms of how you live your day-to-day lives. But obviously,

it was a massive result in terms of bragging right in the city and just being able to go about

our day-to-day lives route, be reminded that we lost the most recent Derby, which was significant

in itself. But in terms of sort of the build-up to it, it just, and I got the sense that, like,

I feel like we were always going to finish fifth, and we may still not.

I might be proven wrong enough.

I was always quietly confident and sort of comfortable with a lot when it comes to

qualifying for the Championship League via the Premier League this time around just because of the former those around us more than anything else

but the Derby is clearly a different beast entirely and I was hoping that we could

obviously get that over the line just to give us something and of course we did and the manner

of which we did it made it all the more sweeter as well but

just generally my move around Liverpool has been sort of taking a few knocks recently and not just

on the pitch but you just hear a lot of things that are going on sort of behind the scenes as well and

some of the reporting around it and it just felt as though i don't know we're a really low ebb and my belief and faith and feelings around us was a really really low ebb as well and then I was a little bit frustrated by the team news the fact that we were in how they played on the bench and two of them were goalies so we actually needed one of them in the end and so yeah I just in terms of the morale in needed that Virgin Van Dyke had us so, so much, as I'm sure we all did.

Yeah, Virgin Van Dyke has mentioned gets the winner in the 100th minute.

Mohammed Salah scoring earlier on after Illamann and Jai, 40 scored the first goal at a Merseyside Derby at the Hill dexter Stadium.

To put everything to the lead, only to be ruled be ruled out rightfully so with an offside call in the build-up and yet the salad goal was exceptional kodi gapo's pass is a finger beauty we haven't seen many moments of true quality in class this season but that was definitely one of them. Like I say, the goal itself.

Late late on was just everything you'd want it to be.
