I've got a few tasty little stories for you today. We will start with Cody Gapow confirming that

Bayemianic did make an approach for him over the summer. But they end up by Lewis Diaz which we know um while he signed a new

Liverpool contract so Gakpo's name was floated among the several link with Munich over the summer

but not knowing that a new contract with Liverpool had been in the works for a year

he signed a new long-term contract that takes us to 2030,

and it had been talked about, as I say, for 12 months.

He was a target for buying me, uni.

And this is from ESPN Netherlands.

From what I understand, buying did come in,

but they ended up buying Lewis Diaz.

Gapro told ESPN Netherlands.

It's nice to have the clarity.

I've experienced things differently myself, of course.

A transfer window like this can be hectic and stressful for a player and everyone around them.

I don't have that problem anymore.

So yeah, a little bit of an insight into what Bayamunuch were actually thinking.

Interesting that the contract talks have been going on for a year

when obviously there was nothing with Lewis Diaz.

Bayer Munich makes you wonder whether they'd have preferred to sign Cody Gacpo over Lewis Diaz.

Obviously, ability-wise, is there anything between them?

But age-wise, you could understand why Liverpool kept Gacpo is probably what I'm saying.
