my name is Dan Club and I'm here to run you through all the latest Liverpool stories and beyond who begin with the fact that the Reds are back in action at

Anfield later on today at time of recording two games tonight against atletico bill bow both of whom

yeah same opposition which is slightly bizarre but something we maybe have to become accustomed to

given that honest lot did similar last season when we played severe and last palmus back to back one

game was with fans in situ one with behind closed doors tonight is slightly different in the fact of the same opposition both times around and fans will be in the stadium for both matches so clearly something that honest lot likes and wants and to get something particular from these back-to-back games obviously be two different sides

two different lineups to different squads potentially you would imagine as well but like I say

there's clearly something that he sees fit and there's benefits to be had from doing this so yeah

I will be in attendance later on interesting to see sort of what the makeup of both teams are but yeah it's

been interesting night and we might learn a little bit more about the reds and some of

the new signings and all that kind of stuff as well of course it'll be quite an

emotional and sort of like poignant night I would imagine being back at Amfield after

there's obviously the sad passing of Diogo Jotter

there will be tributes made I'm absolutely certain of it from the fans and indeed the football club so yeah

it's going to be an emotional night but one that I'm looking forward to all the same and next up in terms

of the transfers obviously as we know it's been a crazy summer already for Liverpool the window

could stop now and I think we'd all be quite happy with our lots I think a lot of us

would want another sensor back and there's probably some more outgoings to be done as well

before we're perfectly happy with the balance of the squad and what have you but yeah

it's just been beyond our wildest dreams in many senses so far this summer.

So, yeah, there seems to be one more huge potential blockbuster transfer at play.

Obviously, Alexander Isak, those rumours just do not go away.
