Welcome to the Baffden nominated overview show.

One of our special shows on the Anfield rap, if you're joining us from non-subscriber land, this

one going out for free this week, I'm told, by John Gibbons, who's with me, the lovely John Gibbons and

Joel Richards and also Harriet Pryor.

What we do on this show, if you've never heard it before, many of you won't have done, obviously,

we sort of play virtual clop a little bit.

We sort of take stock of where Liverpool are in the season look back over

the preceding month and then sort of crystal ball gaze at the month ahead and sort of

see what clock might be planning what he's thinking about his team about rotations and things like that.

What we also do is we look at how our nearest rivals are getting on and how we think they're

going to get on.

We drill down into their fixtures.

In terms of nearest rivals that's a

movable feast but at the moment it's the teams we think are going to

challenge for the title we hope we're going to be one of them we think grudgingly

man you may hang in there Chelsea and City were counting but okay let's

start off gang by looking at what Liverpool have done over the preceding month

since we last did an overview show we've played four times in the league in that period of time, twice in the European

Cup and we've played the League Cup tie at Norwich.

So it's been the first very busy phase of the season and it's going to be another busy phase of the season
