Hello everyone, welcome to the Red Bend TV. It's Wednesday the 28th of May, 2025.

I don't really know where to start with this one, obviously. We had an incredible weekend.

We saw Liverpool win the Premier League trophy and lift it in front of us with our own eyes.

And then we had an incredible parade day.

Ruined, I suppose, by an act of unbelievable malice.

It was horrific, absolutely heart-wrenching. And so it falls on me to be the person who first

talks about it. Obviously, first of all, our thoughts or prayers go to absolutely anybody who is involved,

was involved in the horrific occurrences on Water Street in Liverpool after the parade on Monday evening.

Thankfully, you know, it's all been very good news, I suppose, or the best news maybe,

that we could have hoped for.

As everybody probably knows, a 53-year-old male was arrested for attempted murder, driving

under the influence of drugs after the water street incidents.

The Mayorseside Police Chief Constable Jenny Sims, Detective Chief Superintendent Karen

John Drill provided more clarity on the events and confirmed that 65 individuals were treated for injuries.

11 of those were still in hospital.

Fortunately, Sims confirmed that all 11 still receiving treatment were in a stable condition

and appearing to be recovering well.

The 53-year-old males from West Derby

and arrested on suspicion of attempted mayor

that dangerous driving offences and driving well unfit through drugs.

The car somehow ended up on Water Street.

It was closed to traffic by all accounts.
