Hi, it is the Redmond by Taz podcast. It is Monday the 27th of April and I'm here to answer

the latest LFC news from the weekend. Well, what happened at the weekend was Liverpool did beat

Crystal Palace 3-1 at home. Probably should have stayed at 2-0 but we'll get into that in a little

minute. After we do debrief that game,

we'll get into Woodman's comments after a pretty unbelievable game.

Let's first get into the game of football.

I thought Liverpool did relatively well.

I don't think Crystal Palace were that bad,

but Liverpool were quite clinical, actually.

The first goal coming from

Alexander Isak who you know takes a really good touch to basically kill Macalester's

shot that I don't think was going anywhere near the goal and is finished he doesn't

actually catch a cleanly but that is what makes him score i think if he catches it cleanly

he probably actually misses the target and yeah he kind of scuffs it it it goes over the keeper and it

goes in the back of the net and yeah it's just it's great for him um because you know it's fair to say

he's had a tough season at liverpool a's a tough first season. I don't think anyone

doubts his ability. I think everyone just thinks he's extremely unfit because of everything that

has happened since his preseason, basically. And yeah, it was good to see him on the scoreboard. It was

good to see everybody celebrate him getting that goal because it felt like everybody was desperate for him

to get that goal, you know, the players on the bench, the players who were actually on the pitch,

you know, the celebrations were just one of like maybe a little bit of relief, but also like

this like clearly needed to go, well, thank God he's got one.
