I'm Steve Hall coming to you from a very wet, windy storm in Liverpool to bring you the latest news around the club.

And considering actually that's an international break and there's not too much going on in terms of on-field action for the Reds, at least in club duty, there are lads on international duty.

There's actually loads and loads and loads of news to get to.

So without further ado, I'm going to start straight away.

And I'm going to start with a report from our good friend Lewis Steele of the Mail.

Lewis writes the Liverpool Confidential Q&A column over on the mail.

And this week he was asked about a new contract for certain players and certain situations regarding contracts.

And he revealed, as far as he's aware, people he's speaking to are telling him,

that new contracts for three Lippool midfielders, Alexis Macallister,

Ryan Gravenbeck and Dominic Sabots lie are on the agenda

for the club and talks are taking place

with the representatives of all three

and Liverpool Football Club

to try and get New Deal signed for all three of them.

So fantastic news that Liverpool are on this one.

There's been too much contract drama around Lipul over the last few years.

It was a bit of a mess in terms of new directors, new managers, ins out to everything.

And yet, like you say, last year we dominated by three contract situations this year.

Everyone's on about the Ibukinati contract situation as well.

Where Lipu Liverpool have allowed,

or the players have got themselves into a situation where they're into their final gears.
