and with John Gibbons to go through Liverpool Women across the last few matches and look ahead to what's next.

The first thing to say, Lian, is it's three wins back to back.

It's two goals scored in each of them, two of them were away games.

And this is arguably the most Liverpool women have possibly been at their ease,

if you know what I mean.

Since early in the 1819 season, about six, seven games into that the fourth in the

WSL in the 18-19 season playing some

all right stuff. Since then I don't think they might see there might not even have

been a three-match winning run and certainly not one where the games have felt

relatively comfortable.

Yeah I think the team looks a lot more confident, you know creating lots of chances,

new players have betted in well, the defence looks strong and

and all around I think players are playing with a lot more freedom under

Matt Beard they seem a lot more confident and it might be a case you know we've spoken in the past on these

podcasts that maybe Liverpool underestimated the championship to begin with but this season they had last year is a learning curve and

and they have a manager who understands the league and they've just gone right well we're better you know we're better than a lot of these teams and let's play like it and they're showing it now

The the system change is interesting for me Emma we were at the game against Crystal Palace the first time he moved to the back three. But straight away

it just it just felt immediately that there was greater clarity and since then

there's been there's the victory that day and there's two more wins on the road and one of the key things here is that

apart from a few set pieces that get lashed in here and there it doesn't really feel
