Preview show before the return to the WSL after two seasons in the championship and it's a very different

WSL to the one that

Liverpool left under slightly contentious circumstances all the way back in

the spring slash summer of 2020. I've got Philip Small with Lauren Black and Andy Bell with me to look ahead

to every single facet of this season.

Well, I'm all the short-term facets to be honest with you because seasons grow and change, but

from a Liverpool point of view here.

But the first thing to say, Lauren, is that it's been a long road back and it feels like

Liverpool, this Liverpool is better equipped than the Liverpool that left the division.

That's the most exciting part of all of this, that this is a side that right now feels as though it's got a lot of positive momentum, it's got a lot of quality, and it feels as though it's tried to ready itself for what will be a really difficult challenge.

Yeah, definitely I think I 100% agree with that the squad seems better well put together this season going into the

WSL compared to what it was the last time we were there.

Obviously circumstances are different as well in terms of the manager's position.

Obviously we've got Matt with us now and he's obviously a key figure in.

This Liverpool side as well we've got some really strong silence we seem to have a good

team unity at the minute. Right from the goalkeeper up to the forward line seems to be

you know gel them well and all getting getting along well so it's yeah it put us in

good stuff for the season heads obviously first couple of games will be you know tough with some of the opposition

that we have to play and it'll be a big a big test for us and it'll just show what we're about

really as we go into this new season.
