Hi, this is Andy Heaton and I'm joined in studio by Damon Kavan for a quick chat really just about today's news about the announcement from the football club about the

installation of rail seating at Anfield which so basically for those that don't know if you've been living in a cave for the past couple of hours

Liverpool I've announced that they're going to be fit in 7,800

well fit seats with rail so there would be 7,800 rail seats starting from next season at Anfield,

1800 in the cop, and the rest in the Lower Annie Road, which I understand is the entirety

of the Lower AnfieldAntfield Road.

Now, there's been a lot of debate over the years about rail seating and some people

refer to it safe-stand them, but the club of being adamant this is rail seating and it's been

enforced on them by the SGSA who'd be monitoring Liverpool on a couple of

other clubs in regards to persistent standing and there was a risk of the club losing some kind of safety

certificate.

So you know all the communications points to the club's arm being up its back on this

little bit but that does not get away from the fact that it has been and can you

continues to be an emotive issue so I thought I would ask Damon is obviously Hillsborough Survivor for 10 minutes of his time to have a little

chap on it and gracefully as ever he's agreed to give us a thought so I mean I'll I've done the intro now I'll I'll just kind of

hand over to you mate well thanks for asking us in it is a motive it's definitely

a head and heart situation for us and I knew this day would come some day of us.

And then I get up this morning and I find out it today.
