And I'm here speaking to you all in the aftermath of the Reds.

Being eliminated from the Champions League at the hands of PSG, 4-1 on penalties after a 1-0 defeat.

Amfield, which of course made it one-one

that I could get went through extra time and then yeah knocked out on pens by the French

league and leaders and it's difficult for me to sit here and say that wasn't deservedly so

if I'm being really honest I think over the course of the two legs,

they were the better team,

outplayed us over in France,

and it was a real smash and grab from the red.

I thought we were much, much better.

It was a much more even contest last night at Amfield.

We probably just about shaded it,

maybe over the course of the initial 90 minutes, but extra time, PSG came on strong. They added freshness, they added legs, and we didn't really match that at all. We faded badly as the game were on. We started really, really brightly. Could have maybe took the lead, a couple of salary chances. Virgil Van Dyker of a header in the area as well from a corner,

which maybe he could have done a bit better with.

And yet there was definitely two or three moments for the Reds

over the course of 90 minutes.
