Welcome everyone to the Liverpool.com podcast. I'm your host, David Comerford, and I'm joined by the Liverpool.com podcast. I'm your host David Comerford and I'm joined by the

0:14.5

Liverpool.com writer James Martin and we're still in the midst of the

0:18.5

international break for now but there was some major news last week as the nominations for the Balandoor were revealed.

0:25.0

And obviously last year when Liverpool nearly won the quadruple I had five players nominated.

1:25.1

winning the award in the not-to distant memory was Virgil Van Dyke who in 2019

1:30.8

was only seven points behind Leonel messy in the voting.

1:35.8

Just to reflect on that before we get into looking ahead,

1:39.5
