Liverpool.com editor Matt Addison. And in today's episode we're going to look a couple of years ahead.

We've got loads of expiring contracts for some very important

figures of the club, the manager E Egenclopby and one of them but also some key players as well.

So the question we're going to ask essentially is, is it going to be the end of an era at

am field or is it going to be the extension of the current one? So we'll start first of all

math with the players and if you look to 2025 you have three contracts that are all expiring at the same time.

You are Trent Alexander Arnold, Mohammed Saller, and Virgil Van Dyke.

I think we should deal with trends first of all because that might be the simplest case easiest ones

almost get out of the way at the start. It was reported during the summer that everyone wanted to get that contract

sorted in the off season but there's no sign of anything happening on that

for it just yet we know that other teams are going to be aware of what's going on you

know we're talking about one of the best ridebacks in the world here but surely

there's not something to worry about really even though there is a bit of a delay.

Yeah, I wouldn't have thought so. I think it's probably one of those where

Liverpool don't need to be in a rush with it. They probably know that it's almost an inevitability, isn't it? I know there has been

a few links in Spain with Barcelona, with Real Madrid. You know, I'm sure they'd love to have them. I'm sure most teams would,

but it doesn't feel to me like he would be in any

rush. There might come a point at some point in his career where he thinks maybe he'd

quite like to go and do something else but he's just been made by his captain of

Liverpool Football Club he's just been made vice captain of of Liverpool Football Club.
