I am your host most stewart and we are days,

nay hours away from the start of the

the new Premier League season.

Excitement is fever pitch.

I can, you probably can't tell from the looks on our faces, but we are all very excited

to see Liverpool back in Premier League action.

Matt, tell the people what you're most looking forward to.

Just that the proper football being back, to be honest, it seems like a long time,

even since the Euros, it seems like an even longer time, obviously,

since the end of last season.

And I think it's going to be a very

different season put it that way for Liverpool this season there was a lot of pain and a lot of

sort of difficult periods of last season in a variety of different ways but I think I'm very very

optimistic about this season I think there's there's a lot to be excited about I'm excited to see

obviously the center backs Harvey Elliot all the rest of it.

I think there's been loads of things that have come out of pre-season, which just wet the appetite

really for the start of the new campaign.

And I suppose that the only thing I'm not looking forward to is the September international break,

which I can already say on my calendar.
