There's plenty for us to discuss a Liverpool win this weekend, so we'll dive straight into it.

And Joel, I'll come to you first. I think there's obviously only one place to start

isn't there it was a late winner an important winner for Liverpool and for Trent Alexander

Arnold how big a goal and how big a win do you think that was for Liverpool in terms of the context of this season?

Massive, yeah, it was starting to kind of feel very familiar and to the kind of a recent run of

dreadful results at Anfield, but not the performance.

I mean that was the most frustrating aspect that really until they conceded in the first half.

The performance was generally good.

They were getting into promising positions quite frequently, albeit not putting the

chances away. Obviously, Sala probably should have done better with that one he had. But they were looking

dangerous, they're looking sharper than they have done in a lot of these kind of quite pedestrian

predictable home games where they just struggle to break teams down.

That wasn't really the case.

I thought Villa were actually quite poor, giving the ball away in dangerous areas,

often sort of under pressure from

Liverpool they forced fat and it was such a sucker punch that that opening

goal by Watkins because it just it wasn't even really a proper chance it came out of
