Liverpool's midfield as ahead of the

clubs rebuild in this summer's transfer markers. In today's episode we're

going to be looking at Harvey Elliot. We've looked at Tiago and Curtis Jones

in the past couple of weeks but

So, Matt, let's get straight into it.

We'll begin with a focus on this season for earlier

before we look at what the future might hold for him.

I just want to read just some stats about his level of involvements as we assess how he's done this year.

So he's made 18 starts in the Premier League. He started five of Liverpool's first

date and ten of their first 14 before the World Cup. But since the World Cup

he's only started eight of Liverpool's 22 Premier League games and perhaps most

damningly of all I suppose only one of the last nine so how do you assess generally

speaking this season for Harvey Alex and how was one for them?

Yeah I mean it's it's a hard one to assess and I think when he's played he's done well

I think the new system probably suits him better than what he was in before. I think there was some question marks quite rightly about where he fits into that more kind of traditional 433 if you like that Liverpool were using at the start of this season it looks like they've moved away from that slightly

I think the question shifts really from where does he fit into that to can you play both him and Curtis Jones in the same team in terms of both being more advanced

players. I think the answer to that is yes. It's just a case of over the last few games. Liverpool have kind of found
