this match that we're going to talk about today is without question a Liverpool classic and

somebody even argue that is one of the best team displays in the club's incredibly

rich history.

The match I'm talking about is Liverpool 5, Nottingham Forest-Nil.

And to talk about the match, I'm delighted to say I'm joined on the line by Dan Kaye,

not only because of his encyclopedic Liverpool knowledge,

but also like me and probably Ian Doyle on the sports desk.

Yes, thank you for reminding me of my age of years. In instances like this, it actually becomes a virtue because even though I was 10,

nearly 11, when this match was played.

Unfortunately, I wasn't actually at an hour about day.

It is, I think, steered into my memory

and I think a lot of Liverpool supporters

who remember it at the time.

And also, rightly, remember how it's kind of really

been held up as a pinnacle as to what a team performance can be and you know it's we've seen some great times in the last two or three years particularly with the urban clock Liverpool but you know this this match against Forrest very much

stands in the very very the top strategy of any performances from any club I would say.
