James Pearce. We've just watched Open Training Outside in the blistering heat, James is fair to say. How did you find it? It was hot enough just watching. God knows what it was like trying to run around and that. You know it's pretty crazy when your iPhone just completely shuts down and you have to go and stand in the shade. But no, it was fascinating again, wasn't it, been able to watch the different drills they come up with. You know, you look at the influence of someone like Sipka Holschoff and him calling the shots a lot of the time. And then then obviously dividing up into groups. And you had Aaron Briggs leading a lot of kind of specialist set piece work. And of course, Giovanni Van Broncos getting down to work in his new job as well and on a slot just kind of like they're loitering in the middle just keeping a watching brief over everyone yeah it's interesting yeah obviously mentioned some of the new coaches there and it's interesting to see their new methods of these avi valera the new goalkeeper coach as well interesting to see i'm in briggs doing some long throw work which i haven't really seen a lot of but Liverpool might be looking to add a new weapon to the arsel this time around

yeah there is one major talking point to come out of open training and obviously we all spotted no

alice and becker for a while think we've now got a little bit more information as to why

yeah a personal matter that's meant he's already left the squad here in Tokyo and has flown

flown off so so yeah I believe that happened overnight

Liverpool not commenting any further on that as you quite expect with it

being a personal matter and the plan is for Alison to link back up with the squad
