That was a thing that needed to happen, so I was told.

Sad, what else needed to happen was Liverpool needed to be miles better in the second half

than we were in the first because my Christ, that first half was grim.

Really grim.

As much as you can look at the numbers and sort of the stats around it and,

you know, possession, territory, yada, yada, yada, yada.

We probably deserve to go in one-nill-down because Southampton clearly grew in confidence,

clearly grew in belief that they were in the game and let's have it right.

You know, as much as

people were looking at it as arrogance overconfidence whatever heading into the match in terms of

what we believe the score line could be we're all set here giving it freeze falls whatever

you know cricket scores some of us but we're top of the league're bottom of the league, we're on track to win the league,

they're pretty much already down and out, they're currently on course for the lowest

points total ever unless they pull the fingers out of their asses in next few weeks.

So we're not, you know, we're not arrogant, We're not wrong for believing that Liverpool on their day

should turn up and should go through the gears and should wipe away Southampton and just

brush them to one side. However, that first half was so Lefajic, it was so casual that it didn't

happen and it was the opposite and Southampton capitalised.

What summed up the half really was the concession of the goal because

Randike doesn't deal with it, he looks sees Alison isn't coming and then still doesn't

deal with it, then Allison kind of comes and then doesn't come, doesn't use his hands
