Hello and welcome to the Anfield Rap.

This might seem somewhat unlikely.

Earlier today at 1118 we effectively started the Anfield rap after Salzburg came through as

Liverpool's opponents in the last 16 of the Champions League. We chatted for 10 minutes

at the start of the Anfield rap about Salzburg versus Liverpool. We were really pleased with the draw. We weren't that

committed to the idea of a trip to Salzburg, but then Mike Gurling made the point about

the wider world and where that would be at that sort of stage, all very, very fair from Mike. We got on with the show we talked

about Aston Villa we looked ahead to Newcastle we ended the show we come out from

the back of the show to find out that the draw might not count such as John Gibbons

it's fair to see the Anfield at Mondays for all of us are finely calibrated machines.

It is fair to say that and it is fair to say that UAFSA in amongst all of this, the grist in the

Anfield-RAP mill is absolutely enormous, but all you can do is laugh.

Yeah, it's been a mad Monday, isn't it?

To throw all that in, obviously, you know, you mentioned there, Mike talking about the way the world is.

We've sort of started a mixture of

sorts of home and office working at the moment and we've got different people at

different times. So a normal Monday is busy, but this time it feels like even more

like you're trying to plan everything and people not

being together so it's the city needs to be and I know all that's gone to pot as well to be

honest with you because you know it's all sorts of all hands on deck trying to make

things happen and try to do everything that we need to so yeah it's been wild I'm sure you know we're
