episodes, and I have been in bed for two days straight because I have COVID.

It is the most vicious form of COVID I have ever experienced in the many years that we've been dealing with this disease.

I feel like I have been smashed by the Monte Python foot.

And none of this is particularly relevant to the episode today other than the fact that I feel

incredibly sorry for myself and I'm hoping that people will send me gentle emails in praise of my

bravery and having recorded this at all.

This episode that you're about to listen today was recorded on the 14th of October

at the Wheeler Center during their Spring Flingfling in Melbourne.

As you may have known from listening to this podcast for the last month or so,

I went to Australia for two weeks for a tour and in that time my entire

personality has become Australia. I had incredible time this is kind of like a really sweet little snapshot of what that time was like and how you can just really hear me falling in love with the entire nation of Australia as well as my co-host on this

podcast Miff Warhurst. It's really fun and it's actually a really good snapshot, another snapshot, full of snapshots of how the live

shows for sentimental garbage go. I know lots of people have wanted to come and I've only

really done quite little shows in the past or shows at festivals or shows at like fairly obscure locations.

But this is kind of an indication of how those shows go, which is I have a guest on, we take sort of notes from the audience

in a big fish bowl of like little garbage topics that they want us to cover and then we give these like two or three minute

a hot takes on them that often go into these really fun meandering areas.

So on this episode when you hear us sort of like pause for a second and then suddenly

launch into a totally new subject that is because we are we've taken something
