Summary

As one area of the team seems to improve and play well, another one takes a step back or fails to make plays in key moments. It's a story of nearly all the losses from this season. The officials made us all know that they were there on the field, too. For a good stretch of the game, we expected to see a flag on the field after every play. Maybe, in part, due to the two most heavily penalized teams playing one another. Were the improvements on offense enough to hold out hope the Seahawks can close out the seasons strong, or did this game tell us all we need to know about who this team is this season?

0:39.0

And I'm going to explain that because of our experience last week, not because I think Cowboys fans can't get this like 49ers fans can't.

0:48.6

But so I to start out by saying, that was a fun game of Roughball featuring the Seahawks and the Cowboys.

0:54.7

That didn't, that was not the reason we lost, not the reason we lost.

0:58.0

Let me quote that again in case anybody thinks that that's what I'm trying to say.

1:02.6

The refs are not the reason we lost.

1:04.7

You should have led with that because otherwise then it'll be confused and contorted.

1:09.4

And really, you know, as much as it felt like it was a game of ref ball in the third quarter,

1:17.0

the fourth quarter was better because I don't think it could get any worse than the third quarter.

1:22.1

So I at least fell.

1:23.9

And it kind of evened out anyway.

1:25.7

It was about 130 yards of each direction of

1:29.4

officiating. So we can get into some of the actual reasons. But we can start off with Samuel

1:34.5

Gelber who came in with a $12 super chat saying having a truly catfishy day. Shane McGowan dies,

1:42.2

lead singer of one of your favorite bands, I think, Samuel.

1:44.7

My dog is sick and the Hawks get double-team by the stars being the Cowboys and the Stripes being the refs.

1:50.2

I'm sorry, Sam.

1:51.4

You don't deserve bad days.
