Hey everybody, welcome to Battleground live.

It's great to have you here.

First, I just want to start off the show by apologizing for yesterday. I was

out of town yesterday. I'm going to tell you a little about that in a second because it was an

amazing experience. So I'll fill you in on that in just a minute.

But I found out that I was going to have issues coming home.

And when I found out it was going to be an issue,

had to scramble to come up with a plan for you all.

And so we ran the Scott Pressler episode

because there's just a ton of great information

about election day operations in there,

even though it was an old episode.

The reality is, is I don't have a great way to communicate with you all if

there is an issue. Typically what happens is if I know there's going to be an issue ahead of time

I'll let Brock know and Brock will put it out on the Wendy Bell

radio show during a commercial break or something like that. But I need a better battle

drill for that moving forward and rest assured we are working on it so sorry for the

confusion yesterday and also you know even if there's not going to be a show I have so

much stuff in so many interviews pre-recorded that, you know, we'll be able to even run new interviews with interesting people, even if there's a technical difficulty or something with the show and for whatever reason I can't do it live.

I want to make sure that I have stuff for you every single night at five that's interesting.
