Summary

The McDonough family recounts their harrowing encounter with serial killer, Adam Leroy Lane. On July 29, 2007, Shea McDonough of Chelmsford, Mass., returned home and left the back door open for her brother, not knowing he was spending the night at a friend’s house. Hours later, her parents were startled by a sound coming from her room. When her father went to Shea's room to check on her, he saw a large masked man standing over her with a knife at her throat.
