Hey everyone, happy Sunday. This is going to be a raw unedited mini episode. I just got out of the shower. I am like trying to

decompress and unwind and stay calm in the midst of this COVID-19

pandemic and I gotta be honest with you. It's pretty scary and intense but I'm

also leaning into the fact that all I can control is what I can control.

So that's washing my hands, social distancing,

picking my vitamins, trying to stay ahead of any sickness any sickness and know that I can't like we can't

control this I can't control this viruses are tricky and especially new ones that come about where you know the

scientists are still trying to figure out things it's been oh it's been a

whirlwind schools here are closed for two weeks. So all five of us will be home.

And you know, I think this is going to be a stretching time when it comes to like how do we take

care of ourselves during a pandemic like it's it's pretty intense anyway, I just wanted to check in with everyone and give you guys some updates on what's happening on this end.

So many of you know that we had a live show scheduled for March 28th and that has been

postponed by the Kennedy Center, rightfully so. The health of everyone in our community and

beyond is priority. And I'm glad that they made that call. We had guests from

out of town coming and we had a full house.

We sold out the theater which was really a pivotal moment for me and my producer and the Hey Girl Podcast community, but also it just

shows that that is how community comes first, right?

Like, okay, yes, this exciting thing is going to happen,

but also, yes, we have to take care of ourselves

and we have to put a pause on things.

So I'm sure the Kennedy Center has reached out to folks who purchase tickets and you have an

option for a credit for the next show and or a refund, so whatever you choose to do, do it.
