Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to the live show everybody. Which we are doing, we've restarted

it every Wednesday at 5 o'clock, not the last two weeks because summer things are getting

in the way, various problems. It's a tricky time. Obviously the glue is weather as well.

Absolutely blessed with that. Although we are actually having a very nice day today, which is a shame

because obviously we had a show today. So I'm going to try and get some. I hope you also, it's

sunny where you are because that is essentially the end of the summer. What we're going to talk about

today is the latest descent into the sewer by Aruning Park, the Conservancy Park. Now they are in a

desperate desperate state. Their polling is calamitous. We'll talk about that later after I spoke

into my two guests. Now what they're doing, the tour is quite clearly in terms of their zealous

and bigoted and increasingly deranged focus on migrants and refugees. And the onslaught against

our human rights collectively, I should say, is it's a silent desperation. An age old, I suppose,

tactic by administrations, governments, regimes, desperate circumstances is to deploy fear,

to deflect growing popular anger away from powerful targets to vulnerable minorities who

escape-goated for the hills in society. Now let's always have deliberately stoked up a particular

panic about the arrival of migrants and refugees on small boats. Now this is interesting because

we have few asylum claims in the beginning of the century, but more people arriving on small boats

because of the closure of safe and legal rates. There's always a really put themselves in a

terrible situation, I would say. I'm not sure, you know, as master strategists, which in the past

they have been, that power's clearly waned because what they've done is deliberately inflamed

the idea of the small boats. They've started this kind of, their campaign has stopped the boat,

stopped the boats. That's not going to happen. In no way under this government,

doesn't matter what they're going to do, these small boats are always going to arrive. So

...
