What a year it was. What a year for the Washington Capitals, their reign as Stanley Cup champions officially ended last night when the St. Louis Blues won that city's first ever Stanley Cup for professionally.

There was not a better year for all of us than the year we all just experienced together with the Caps as Stanley Cup champions.
