here after a pirate's sweep of the Orioles.

My gosh, these guys, eight runs.

The pirates win eighth two.

What do we do about this? I don't understand. What do we do about a team that's actually hitting the baseball? Yeah, that's the story of the day, really. And it's just kind of crazy because it was really a full team win. Ryan O'Hern gets things started with four RBIs in the first two innings.

The Pirates scored six runs in the first two innings that get started on, you know, Ryan O'Hern hits a two-run homer in the first.

And then they all combine for four runs in the second, and you keep, you just keep getting, you get a six-nothing lead right away, and Braxton Ashcraft, you got off to a great start. He talked about it after the game. He's like, that just makes pitching easy at that point. And it does. I mean, it takes a lot of pressure off. You can, you know, feel free to attack the strike zone.

You know that you are given a little bit of grace because you don't have to, you know, if you give up one run, it's the end of the world, you can give up a run or two runs. You know, it's okay. You know, you have the big lead. And then later on, O'Neill Cruz adds on two-run Homerer to make it i think at the time was eight to one and then at that point it's just you know guys just got to get the job done mason montgomery comes in

after ashcraft goes six innings only the one run montgomery gives up a run kind of labor through

that seventh inning.

But, you know, got through it, you know, limited the damage, which is, you know, when a guy doesn't have his best stuff and he's kind of struggling, he's laboring through, you know, you want to see, you know, a guy at least get out of there with the, you know, maybe just the one run, hopefully no more than two, even with a big lead like that, gets through it,

and then Jose Ricciti comes in and pitches the final two innings, and that was, uh, that was, uh, that was, that was, that was pretty good, man. That was pretty good. Uh, a really, really good performance.

Uh, the, one of the things that really kind of stood out to me, and because, and not taking anything

away from Ryan O'Hern, I mean, this is, but this is what you brought him in to do.

Now, he's not going to get four RBIs a game, but he's going to provide offense.

He's going to provide consistency.

Braxton Ashcraft talked about it after the game, how he's kind of like setting a culture in the

clubhouse almost, that how it's contagious and how it's, you know, setting this standard

that's going to be, you know, expected of this team, not just on the hitting side,

but on the pitching side and complimenting each other, you know, making sure that when, when the lineup isn't able to produce the runs, the pitching, the pitching staff keeps, keeps them in the game. And then when the pitching staff, you know, it doesn't have their best stuff and they're not able to keep the other team off the scoreboard, the offense is going to be able to support. There's going to be that expectation. and O'Harton's a big part of that. But you brought him in to do that.

You brought him in to be a guy who's going to be that expectation, and O'Hern's a big part of that. But you brought him in to do that.
