Walton Arena here on this cold Friday night where the razorbacks just knocked off

Fordham 74 to 48. I got to tell you, listen I was very, very impressed with the razorbacks tonight.

The defense was tremendous. If you heard me say the final score. They only allowed 48 points.

That's good against anybody and Fordham's a team in the Atlantic 10 conference as

known for putting some points up and Arkansas stifled him.

Held him under 38% from the field.

Held him is just four or three pointers.

We heard Eric Welsman talk about five guys being red shooters

on that scouting report that they really had to be aware of.

417 from 3, you take that all day.

30 forced turnovers, though,

is really the story of the night for the razorbacks.

I mean, what can you say?

It was tremendous on the defensive end of the floor.

There was a stretch in the first half that may have been the best that I've seen

from a razorback team defensively in a long time.

They held Fordham.

Well Arkansas got down 7 to nothing or 7 to 2 excuse me out of the gates.

It was a little bit uneven there from the start.

But then they put together really stifling defense an eight minute stretch where they held forward them without a single field goal

Turn them over a ton and it was just steel layup steel dunk steel take it to the other end and finish.
