you like from Bud Walton Arena where the Arkansas Razorbacks just cruised to a

71 56 victory over South Dakota State. I mean it was pretty ho-hum. It was a workman-like effort from the

razorbacks they moved to 3 in O for the fourth consecutive season under Eric Musselman, who's still

undefeated in the month of November at Arkansas. I don't think you can ask for a much better start than what we've seen out of these hogs given the circumstances that have been dealt. You think back to that pre-season, got whipped up on by Texas a little bit, you're without your star player in Nick Smith,

but to be 3 and O and be in dominant fashion, in my opinion at least in these games,

man Arkansas is off to a pretty good start. You got to feel optimistic about where they're at headed into this Maui Invitational.

Did they get their funk out of their system early with this preseason? I hope so. We'll see if they hit that lull in the

midpoint of the season or around the holidays like they have in the past, but

they sure do look pretty solid right now. You have to be encouraged. You know,

this game tonight I really feel like Arkansas had this thing in

blowout range probably in the mid portions of the first half but they did have a

stretch kind of a downswing there where South Dakota State really went on a run.

I think it was only about a 6-0 run, but they closed the gap to 4 Arkansas.

Really had some tough stretch there defensively, sloppy with the basketball and it ticked Eric Musseman off.

It forced him to call his first time out of the year.

I'm sure that was a pretty eventful and entertaining conversation.

I liked him to fly on the wall in that

huddle, but Arkansas responded really, really well. Came out on a 9 to 2 run over the

last 2.5-ish minutes of the first half there to build that lead back up to 11 by halftime

and then you know it's kind of like football where you like to get that score right at the

end of the half and then get the ball back for the third quarter and
