Hey everybody, happy Friday.

Welcome to Battleground live and thank you all so much for being in the trenches with me. Yes, I know it is a holiday

weekend. And so I'm even more grateful that you're all here.

I've got all of my kids for the weekend.

It's pandemonium in Fort Parnell and Commander Melanie is upstairs,

wrangling up the troops and getting them ready for dinner.

The very first high school football game for the year is tonight.

So really excited about that.

of the sunrise off of like looking out the back window of our house in Western

Pennsylvania and it's truly Pennsylvania but America in general is God's country and you know folks that's why we do this show I mean this this country

You know there is a spiritual war happening in America and America is ground zero for it.

We're the front lines and when you talk about when Ronald Reagan talked about America being a

shining city upon a hill.

It meant that we were the last true beacon of freedom in the world.

And I'll tell you, when I served in the military,

I saw that. You know, one of my very first duty assignments as a temporary

duty assignment as a cadet was South Korea and we made the trek up to Pan-Moujon

which is right on the border of North and South Korea.
