Dude, pretty chill. I went to pride yesterday.

Like, totally on accident, you know, like I was just in the neighborhood. I was like, let's go check it out.

You know, I haven't been for in a while. What's weird is when I was a kid, my mom, my mom was like, you can't, because we grew up

in, you know, like we moved with the Russians to West Hollywood and it's predominantly gay and Russian. And my mom was like, that, when that pride shit goes on, like, you're not allowed to leave the house. Like, you know, like they're, you know, they'll take advantage of you. And I was like that's bananas you know yeah yeah so I would like at first you know from when I was like

seven till 10 or 11, I wasn't allowed to leave the house on Pride weekend, you know? Fuck. Which is nuts, you know? And yesterday I showed up and I fucking rode a float through the parade. Of course you did. Needle exchange blow.

When I was in the boys home in Silver Lake in 87, you know, we walked to school from there and whatever.

And, you know, Silver Lake was predominant.

At that time, we had a lot of gay people.

I don't know if it does so much anymore.

But I remember we're all in the band.

And it's like boys, you know, from all over California, like probably 15 of us, we're in this band. We come over sunset or come over Mitchell Terrain in and hit sunset. And we're like, whoa, it's like a, look like a parade, right? But it was like all these dudes in like black leather and the leather hats and the chains and shit. we're like, what the fuck?

You know, we didn't know anything

about gay cultures though,

but we were like,

we thought it was like a heavy metal thing. We're like, fuck, there's a lot of dudes just like Robert Alfred here, like the singer of Judas Priest. We're like, fuck, whoa, this was like, yeah, and they were like, oh shit. Yeah, it was super fun. I had you know it was great we literally to, I haven't been in years and we walked up to a float and I was like,

Hey, can I get on and they were like, yeah, sure.

Come on here.

Also it's like, fuck man, it's like Pride Week is the only time where there's real happiness

in America anymore, you know?
