Hey everybody, welcome to Battle Ground Live.

It's great to have you here.

And hey, we are getting very very very close to Christmas and I can tell you with a

hundred percent certainty that all of my kids are super super excited.

Admittedly, it's a crazy time of year.

We're trying to get everything ready.

We've got all of the family coming over.

And so we're changing it up a little bit this year.

We're not, we usually do Christmas Eve together as a family.

It's been a tradition as long as I can remember.

But when you have a blended family, things can sometimes get a little bit complicated

so we want to do everything we can to involve the kids and make sure the kids experience

everything that they want them to that we want them to.

So we're doing it the day before Christmas Eve and so Commander Melanie is up there right now.

Bacon cutout cookies and the plan for the Parnell family or for the Parnell Fire Team. You say Fire Team. We're a little bit bigger than a

fire team so maybe we're the squad, the Parnell Squad. Everything has to be

military around here. But Commander Melanie is up there baking cut out cookies right now,

and the plan is after the show is for me to go up and ice them

with all the five kids.
