welcome to Battleground live.

It's great to have you here folks the debate last night.

Oh my gosh. I I have to tell you I I watched that debate and I told you all yesterday

that I don't really care about the debate that much.

In fact my father texted me last night. It's like, hey, are you watching this debate?

I'm like, actually no, I'm watching Tucker Carlson and Bill O'Reilly. I just I have to tell you I like Bill O'Reilly. I used to watch him all the time way back in the day when he was on the 8 o'clock hour in Fox.

And I just, for whatever reason,

I just really like the guy.

I like his presentation,

and I like the way that he presents facts.

I like his perspective on things. And know I have to tell you I actually met Bill O'Reilly in 2012 on one of my very first I mean it wasn't my first but it was it was one of my very first national media

appearances I was speaking at the 2012 Republican National Convention and

and by the way nobody knew who the hell I was back then. And I remember sitting in the green room at Fox,

like I was all nervous and I remember watching all these people

come in and out of the green room.

And Bill O'Reilly was sitting over in the corner like this reading a paper and I was sitting

I was probably 10 feet away from him in the corner. I like he's just he's like

reading the newspaper looking over the newspaper at me and then looking back at the newspaper and then looking back at the newspaper and then looking over the newspaper and glaring at me like he knew he could sense that I wanted to talk to him and he puts the newspaper back, he puts the newspaper down in his lap. He said, do you need something? You want a picture? Come over, snap, smile. That was it. but that didn't change my perspective about the guy I still liked him so but my dad was like what are you doing not watching the

debate this is literally your job and I said I relented and I said you know what you're right so I turned on the debate
