Summary
On a rainy day at Wimbledon, defending champion Carlos Alcaraz survived a big scare against Frances Tiafoe. Catherine, David and Matt assembled under cover to discuss the match, Alcaraz's ups and downs, and his incredible fifth set record. There's also much excitement about Emma Raducanu as she reached the second week of a slam for the first time since 2021 by defeating Maria Sakkari. How hyped are we? Elsewhere, there's chat about Paula Badosa and Daria Kasatkina setting up a fourth round clash, Jasmine Paolini backing up her Roland Garros run, and the impressive form of Coco Gauff.

| 0:38.8 | diehards. We actually have a crowd over there in the distance. They can't even see us recording |
| 0:47.5 | because just off there in the distance behind us that is our usual position and you can probably see the rain glistening off the |
| 0:55.6 | bench that we are usually sitting on because that just about sums up the day that |
| 1:00.5 | we've had here in Southwest London. It's incredible really that any play happened |
| 1:05.8 | on the outside courts. |
| 1:06.7 | I think more than most people expected did end up happening. |
| 1:09.7 | But courts one and two, or center court and court one were where it was at today |
| 1:14.8 | David for the fans and for the players that were scheduled there because it's it's |
| 1:19.8 | been a bit of a shocker for us all weird. Yeah I mean we kind of got away with it in terms of getting any play by the way the weather |
| 1:26.8 | forecasts looked. |
| 1:27.8 | I mean they certainly got sort of three, four hours of play on the outside courts albeit a couple of hours late but this is where the |
| 1:36.8 | roof on centre the roof on court number one really come into play and thank goodness for them because you know if you think |
| 1:45.4 | back all the years that you just sit in there doing nothing watching nothing people |
| 1:51.5 | are sat you know looking miserable on TV and under umbrellas in the rain |
| 1:56.3 | Not watching nothing nothing David watching Cliff Richard or watching Borg McInrow 1981 which is never wasted energy as far as I'm concerned. |
| 2:05.3 | But still, it's nice that those two show courts with 15,000 people are in each of them and millions around the world are getting to watch a full |
| 2:15.2 | day of tennis still. |
