Hi guys, it's me, Ben, a couple of words before today's nerdist writers panel.

I need to thank my friend Adam Rogers and Missy Schwartz, both of Wired Magazine,

for opening up the Wired offices for us to have this panel in San Francisco.

It was really fun. Wired provided this great space and a setup and everything, and they were terrific.

Go check out Wired.com. I believe they're going to put up some video from the event. I don't know.

If they don't check it out anyway, it's a great site, and there's cool stuff on it to look at. So thanks again to Adam and Missy, and thanks to everyone at 826 Valencia,

who were terrific about helping me promote this event. Hopefully we'll be up in San Francisco

again sometime this year, and more of you guys will come out and enjoy it. I also need to thank Glenn David Gold, who really was the impetus for putting this together.

I'm a big fan of Glenn's and now glad to say a friend, and he helped bring in Eric Larson

and kind of made the whole thing feel very real to me, so I have to thank Glenn for that,

and he's also terrific on this panel. As ever, with out-of-town panels, the audio is going to be a little bit wonky. Bear with it, you know, one of the panelists didn't always have the mic to his

mouth. You can still hear him, but it gets a little weird. Also, we had to do a little editing

as there were some feedback issues at the beginning of the recording. So just be aware of that.

I think I covered it, but just in case anything seems jumpy to you. If you are a fan of the

Nerdist Writers' Panel, and if you're listening to this, I assume you are.
