98.3 Pacifica here in Washington, D.C. and a someone who is just ubiquitous at every demonstration,

always holding that cell phone camera, always asking dozens and dozens of people, why are you here and getting the most incredible, incredible answers?

You'll find out why he's a special dude in a second. His name is Chuck Modiano. He'll be on in just a bit to talk about the massive demonstration to Free D.C. that took place on Saturday, met in Malcolm X. Park,

marched to the White House, untold thousands of people. And for me, my goodness, was it the cure

for the Jack Boot Blues. Also, after we talked to Chuck, I am going to read a piece that

Chuck and I put together about the night

patrols in Washington, D.C., the intrepid people, and we've done it, me and Chuck have done it,

going out at 3 a.m. to actually look at how people are being treated by the police, by ice,

and all the rest once most of the residents have gone home.

And I didn't even talk about the unhoused people being disappeared left and right from this town.

But it's the night patrol that's really standing in the way of this getting worse,

even though they're putting themselves at great risk.

You're going to learn all about them and learn how you can

safely, but also urgently, start organizing night patrols in your cities, especially y'all

in Chicago and Baltimore living under the threat of occupation. So this is just the stupidest

slide in the fascism ever, people in

Chicago waiting for their own government to invade them. I mean, just an absolute, like,

just the farce of this moment boggles my mind. But hey, enough about me. Enough about me. Let's listen
