I believe it ended with me putting on a blonde wig, powdering my Adams Apple, and trying to make back the bus fare in the parking lot. But that's not neither here nor there. Today is not about me or my

Black Jack proclivities. It is about tonight's event, the Bold Gold Broadcast and Media Foundation's

10th event and dinner for the Bold Gold Foundation, which assists young people getting into

radio broadcasting, specifically the news and talk formats.

So essentially, I am here as a scared straight today on the radio.

Young people who want to make a go of it in this medium are going to look at me and maybe think

twice.

Do you remember back in the day where they'd take like a mouthy seventh grader who wasn't getting good grades and they'd lock them in a jail cell with some ex-con with three tear-drop tattoos and he'd yell at them about getting beat up in the mess hall and shanked in the showers? And then the kid would get good grades after that. Essentially that's what I'm here to do. So we're broadcasting today in Scranton, home to Fox across America, of course,
