Hey, what's up folks? Alvin here, very proud to be presenting you a series of conversations,

observations, and just all around fun and an amazing time we had live at CrimeCon for my booth.

We got some incredible interviews. It's pretty amazing what can happen when you just

have a microphone in your hand and a crowd full of people. You elicit and pull out all kinds

of incredible things. We interviewed Dr. Laura Petler, who was a speaker at the conference. We interviewed

Cheryl McCullum, who I am just obsessed with. She is an incredible person, incredible energy.

We also interviewed some incredible just everyday people with amazing stories to tell,

Fran, as a matter of fact, did an interview by himself for over 30 minutes, I believe. I'm really

excited for you guys to hear all of these things. Now, I'm pretty sure these episodes are going

to be split up into multiple parts, but I just wanted to do kind of an intro to let you guys

know what to expect. I really hope you guys enjoy this. This was a labor of love.

CrimeCon 2021 update. There is a lot of main character energy at this convention. There's a lot of

people who are very much like in the mind state of it's my world and you're just living in it.

And I respect it. A lot of colorful hair, somebody wearing like a chiffon robe.

Yeah, that material that's kind of lacy, but see through.

Yeah, it's got like a boa connected to it. You don't even really wear it. You just kind of drape

it over yourself. I've seen a woman with like I said, multi-colored hair and just really

cool outfits. This is a place where people, they're at a summer camp that they've been to before.

Even though there's a lot of people who don't really know each other,

they like have a kinship. So it's like they they know each other from another life.
