Hello everyone. Usually Storm of Spoilers has like good theme music, there's full of jokes and stuff, but I left my USB stick in my house in Denver.

So we're Storm of Spoilers, we're going to talk about Game of Thrones, we will not be spoiling anything for you today if you're new and have no idea what we do.

It's a play on the Storm of Swords book name, we're not actually here to ruin your fun.

But we're going to be talking about Game of Thrones otherwise.

That's a few of you, yeah.

Hi.

Good, so this will be a shorter than usual friendly chat for all of you, since we only have an hour.

We always try to promise David's going to be an hour, he's like, yeah, yeah.

It's never an hour.

Or even times when I'm like, you know, we can make this a really clean 40 minutes, then like 80 minutes later, I'm like,

I should stop hoping, I should stop hoping.

So we thought we would talk about last year and we came, we happened to know a ton of what was going to happen in the season because there had been production spoilers, reddit spoilers, and because of the name of our podcast and the nature of what we do, we digested all of it and then we're like, oh no, we can't talk about this now.

We know everything.

So it was interesting coming last year and I thought we should kind of revisit what it was like in that experience as somebody that's been saying personally that it's about execution, not necessarily about knowing the facts of what happens when let's start with Neil.

Neil was last season better or worse, knowing absolutely everything.

The first time it was worse, but I recently rewatched it season seven and it flies by and it's better than I thought it was.

Like there's better moments in season seven than I thought.
