(39:07-44:38) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake making his Carb Day appearance on the show to recap what he witnessed on the track during today’s practice. He highlights one car/driver that stood out the most from the rest.
(44:38-1:07:47) – Former Indy 500 driver Willy T. Ribbs stops by with Jake and Derek to catch up on what he an Al Unser Jr. are doing together. They also talk about his racing career, how proud he is of his son’s success, explains how his son got into skeet shooting, and tells some stories from back during his racing career at the Indianapolis 500.
(1:07:47-1:17:50) – Jim Cornelison makes his yearly visit on the show with Jake on Carb Day at Pagoda Plaza! They discuss how often he practices Back Home Again in Indiana leading up to race day when he performs the song. Also, he puts Jake on the spot to sing the song at the end of their conversation.

Finally, four-time Indy 500 champion Helio Castroneves joins the show to recap how practice went today for him, reacts to something that Jake points out that the list of drivers he will join on Sunday, and explains how he has adapted over the years with so many changes to the racecars and steering wheels.
