Hey everybody, welcome to Battleground live.

What is it?

It's Tuesday, and it's already a crazy crazy

crazy week. Well welcome to the show. We've got an incredible show for you

planned today. I've got the great and he guys a freaking beast in

every sense of the word but the great Jake Beckett. Jake Beckett just to give you a

sense and I'll recap this as we go along but Jake was a division one college football player for the Arkansas razorbacks.

He was a defensive MVP of the 2012 Cotton Bowl.

He was an NFL Super Bowl winning New England Patriot.

He's a champion.

He's also, after that, became a combat veteran.

Joined the military, went to Iraq,

and then he ran for Senate in Arkansas.

He's our kind of conservative.

He's coming up about 15 minutes past the hour, so at about 515 we'll have him for you. But he's an incredible, incredible guy. I think that you'll like him.

So much to talk about on today's show.

I wanted to talk initially about just a personal story of, you know,

I had so many experiences with people stabbing me in the back over the years and and failing you know my life is just one

really a product of failure in so many senses and I think the key is is like not

failing right but it's picking yourself back up and when you do that the key is when you're down to take something with you to learn something along the way.
