Hi everyone, Fraser here. I know that astronomy cast is on hiatus right now, but we're still

working on lots of really interesting things. And one of the biggest things we're doing

is we're going to be doing a live Google plus hangout to celebrate the landing of NASA's

Mars Science Laboratory, aka Curiosity. So we're going to be starting on Sunday, August

5th at 8 p.m. Pacific time. We're going to be doing four hours of live coverage with

me, Philplay, Pamela Gay. We're going to have two reporters live on location at JPL.

We're going to be giving you live footage of the actual landing itself. We're going to

be interviewing scientists. We're going to have other special guests joining the hangout.

It should be a lot of fun. So once again, you can join us on Sunday, August 5th at 8 p.m.

Pacific Daylight time. I believe that's 11 Eastern time and three in the morning universal

time, GMT. So now if you want to go find the event, you can go to, there's going to be

a bunch of places it's going to go. The first thing you're going to want to do is actually

put the event into your calendar. And you can do that by just going to Google plus, searching

on events for Curiosity landing. The other thing you can do is we'll be broadcasting live

on youtube.com slash universe today. And that's where you'll be able to watch the video live.
