it is week five of our five-week Live by Faith series, this study of the 11th chapter of

Hebrews. I have been remarking to about anybody that will listen how much I'm loving the series.

And just our last three guests have all kind of had like a little bit different

take, like kind of seen it from a different perspective. And I've learned so much. And so y'all,

today we are joined by Trillia Newbell, who is going to see it from one new angle. Like it's just

this episode is so fun and it went so fast. Before we get started, I'm trying

to think what you don't know about Trillia. She wrote a book a while back called A Great Cloud

of Witnesses, which, as you can imagine, is going to really play into our conversation about Hebrews

11. But she also recently released a new book called Celebrating Around the Table, and the subtitle is

Learning the Stories of Black Christians Through Reading, Fellowship, Food, and Faith.

And it is this really cool book that kind of takes a biographical look at Black Christians,

and also includes like some recipes as well as like a devotional element.

And she's put this all

together it's beautiful anyway definitely check that out we'll link to it in the show notes and really
